International Leopard Day

Celebrate International Leopard Day every May 3rd!

Leopards belong in the wild, but you can symbolically adopt one through the World Wildlife Fund and take home your very own stuffed animal leopard.

Leopard fur only belongs on leopards, so make sure you buy faux leopard fur if you want to sport their rosettes. When you wear faux leopard fur post a picture on social media and use the hashtag #LeopardSpotted to show your followers that you support Panthera’s mission.

Support leopard organizations like the Cape Leopard Trust or leopard projects through your local accredited zoo. You can also support cat or wildlife organizations like Panthera or World Wildlife Fund, both have their own projects focusing on protecting leopards. Panthera has Project Pardus which is a conservation program focusing on spanning the leopards range. The World Wildlife Fund currently has a project capturing camera trap photos of Amur leopards in a protected area in Russia.

You can be a voice for leopards. Sign our Pledge and tell us how you plan on helping leopards.
